MATCHING TRIANGLES

Two triangles with the same side lengths are considered the same if one can be moved on top of the other, so that they match exactly.

DRAW TRIANGLES

Draw geometric shapes using protractors, rulers or other manipulatives that obey given conditions.

SSS, ASA, SAS

Construction of triangles includes given 2 sides and an angle or given 2 angles and one side, or three sides (SAS, ASA, or SSS).

Main Concepts – Triangle Rules

2 SIDES GREATER THAN 3RD

In a triangle the sum of any two sides must be greater than the third.

SUM INTERIOR ANGLES = 180

The sum of the interior angles must equal 180 degrees.
